dried sweetened cranberries

Did a SPD recently and it was ace - all the girls loved it even if they had to dilute it a little with lemonade first.
Done a second one using dried sweetened cranberries - 1.5 litres of 50%, 600g of dried cranberries and left it for a week. Drained the spirit tonight and to be honest there is no need to recover any spirit from the cranberries. It's fantastic sharp but sweet enough and smooth as silk. I've got the fruit in another jar with sugar but only 'cos it pinched about 500ml of spirit as the cranberries were originally dried. Next time I do it I'll probably use about 400g of cranberries.
