I've tried to read the most of the rules, but can't find this one, altough I read the question often:

the questions is: can you fill your still to do a spirit run with 90%ABV?
NO :!: :!: Never charge your still with a wash higher than 50% ABV. :!: :!:

When you use higher ABV youre wash can inflame inside your still, and explode

Seriously, the vapors inside any still are explosive when mixed with air no matter what the % of the wash. Filling with 40% is considered the max for the reason that you need plenty remaining inside the boiler after all the alc is gone. Stillin a boiler charge higher than 40% will produce an alarming amount of vapors that are hard to control.
