Out of a 2 Gal wash in a pot still how long is the average it should take?

how hard you runnin? what kind of heat source you using? how long are your warm up times? Lotsa variables.

There are some variables. Including the fact that all stills are not equal.

Please be a little more specific.
Trample the injured and hurdle the dead.

I am using a pot still. I am trying to make moonshine. It take about 30 minutes to heat to 172 deg F

gooses' original post still applies.
Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.
(50 litre, propane heated pot still. Coil in bucket condenser - No thermometer, No carbon)

Yes, gooses responce is the most accurate actually.

Give your self at least a half day block of time. Set up/clean up is all part of it.

It may take just an hour to collect. But take your time. Don't put yourself on a shedule.

Some fellers may have a very systematic and orderly approach while others are less concerned.

Some are naturally efficiant and others have,,,,,,,,sore feet.
