I want to tell everybody I meet about my passion for the hobby ... but I don't. Met a woman today selling naturally fermented vegetables at the market and wanted to tell her about all my bacteria ... but I didn't. Damn, I want the whole world to know what I love doing ... but I remain silent. bd.

Good feeling isn't it, BD. Pity we have to hide, but if we didn't it wouldn't be such fun.

I have not given up my distilling, but it is on the back burner at present. I am learning how to, and making some fairly good wine at present. As you all know it is legal in the US.

So I never screamed from the mountain tops but did whisper to the few friends I thought I had telling them what I was doing. Damn, I now have friends crawling out of the wood work that I never dreamed I had wanting to know when they would get their bottle. Oh well, it is good to have friends.

PS They do get their bottle, and truthfully I am thankful that I am able to give them one.

I make some of the best beer in Farnorcal and the best whiskey other then UJ's, though I haven't had a lot of norcal whiskey.

There are a few folks that know what I do but for the most part if you've had my stuff it's not from me.

Sure some of your ole boys would love to break cover, meet in the open with like minded folks, safely swap stillin tips and tales, and compare their finest work, without having to worry about Mr Law. I sure would.

The only person I yell at about my stillin is my ol' man, and he yells at me about how good it is, but we're both deaf as a post
