Now so many people are asking him for advice, Werni schedules distilling classes each month, which quickly fill up with students from not just the Midwest but across the country and even as far away as Australia.
Gotta love the Aussie spirit!
There's enough demand for Rehorst's spirits that a small release of 3-year-old bourbon, called simply Test Batch Bourbon, sold out in one Saturday afternoon as customers lined up and paid $45 each for all 263 bottles.
