Howdy Folks
I have been lurking this forum for sometime now, and searching past and present post to learn enough to get me started, I would like to thank each and every one of you who ask and or answered questions, as the database helped me a great deal. I have made corn and rye shine with great success and have apple brandy working now, and a box of bananas aging now to go into a mash in a week or so. I live in a part of the US where there are allot of local experts on making and drinking shine, and they say mine is pretty darn good, and that goes right back to what I have learned on this forum, again thanks ! :D

NCHooch, I reread my post and understand what ya mean about the chuckle, To be clear, I have not admitted to making the shine, just ask opinins on what I had, and ask a few basic questions. To be honest I'm not a big drinker, but my surgeon has suggested that I start drinking, as it looks like I will live with chronic pain, the rest of my middle aged life. When I was younger I drank my share of shine, with a little store bought thrown in, The grand thing about homebrew is you can make what you want :D I'll have some blackberrys next summer, anyone made shine with blackberrys ?
