A Practical Handbook on the Distillation of Alcohol from Farm Products
by F. B. Wright, Second Edition, Copyrighted 1906 and 1907

This 261 page book is a real gem. It goes into great detail about, Alcohol, Preparation of Mashes, Distilling Apparatus, Rectification, Malting, Alcoholometry and Denaturing Alcohol. It dedicates a separate chapter each to the making of alcohol from Potatoes, Grain, Beets, and from Molasses/Sugar Cane. It has many illustrations of distilleries, their set ups and equipment. The only draw back is the age of the information as the technological advances has made obsolete the equipment described, but the information is still valid as to distilling. fermenting and properties of alcohol.
Hard to find but worth the effort. I rate it 4 stars.
