Into the body on first low wine I've done

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.
Pics are VERY welcome, we drool over pretty copper 8)

Into the body on first low wine I've done

Post by Tulsamoonshine »

I'm into the head on first true run I've got about 12 gals of the 30 gals of low wine. Running 75% reflux comming out crystal clear and about 194 proof. It's a turbo yeast just as a starter but it's the Oklahoma heater warms ya up from inside out. I can arleady tell you am going to build a big flute. This a lot of fun but but dame it's cut out here. Hell it snowing and raining white lightening. Thanks to all that help me gain the knowlage to get this off the ground.

Still working out some kinks after about 3gals of output the bolts around flang on the bowl slated blowing vapor out if flour one and the the next started leaking after two then the third one started. I just gave up and all fix it after school and finish up the batch.
