Home Distiller

my still is a pre made still and the collection tube is only less than a foot away from the still , since its a stainless steel pre made still by brewhaus i cant really modify it .. but since the collection tube is so close to the still this means that i will have to put my jar of ethanol right beside the heating element ! this makes me extremely uncomfortable and paranoid , is there any way i can add a copper tube onto it or something to collect further away from the still , any input would be appreciated thanks
