Whiskey Cream Liqueur

Post by WeeStiller »

I made a simple adaptation to the Muck recipe for a Whiskey Cream Liqueur that contains no raw eggs.

Whiskey Cream Liqueur:

For one bottle, ~0,75 liter
1 can sweetened condensed milk (Frisia, ~400 g, 275 ml)
1 tablespoon chocolate topping sauce
500 ml All Bran Whiskey @ ~42%, (amber color, vanilla flavor from oak)
Total abv ~26%
Store cold

Both the condensed milk and the chocolate sauce contain emulgators, so to keep the suspension, no eggs are needed. I tried it with the eggs first but I don't like consuming raw eggs. It's a bit thicker with eggs though. But then, in this country health and food authorities advise against eating raw eggs. Furthermore, Baileys does not contain eggs either. The canned condensed milk gives a perfect sweet balance and both the whiskey and the chocolate sauce contain vanilla flavors, so no further ingredients are needed. Chocolate sauce can be adapted to taste.

For the guys who think this liqueur is too pussy, add one part of vodka to make a Polar Bear cocktail. The vodka gives a nice cold sting but it still drinks like baby milk.

Enjoy!

Mike
