Iv never done this so take this with a grain of salt.

but as the oak is already toasted, pitch it in some 65%. powder/chips will act much differently than sticks due to the surface area and thickness of the wood.

i would say take a small sample of whitedog and add a little bit of the powder, sample, add, sample, add to your taste.

Iv never seen oak powder but iv had experience with oak essence and toasted oak chips.
They do give you an oaky flavour but it is not really "aging", they are quite one dimensional.

Products like this are: "aha! This tastes immediately oaky!"
Products like this are NOT: "delicious, I'm getting vanilla, almonds and a touch of maple syrup like sweetness"

Definitely give it a go in small amounts, but eventually you will probably find yourself shopping on a weekend looking for old oak furniture to chop up!
