I don't know if any of you guys have found this, or any suggestions to fix it, but after aging and oaking my spirit, I usually put a coffee filter into my funnel which is in the bottle neck, and ladle the spirit into the funnel to be filtered. I have noticed that after about a week there is a dusty like residue that has settled to the bottom of the bottle. I have since re-filtered it using two filters one inside the other to make it a finer filter, yet again after a few days a duty type residue has settled in the bottom of the bottle. It does not seem to make any difference to the likker, it's just that the last glass out of the bottle seems a bit cloudy. I would rather have the bottle 100% clear, does anyone else experience this or have any suggestions to fix it.
