Hello all. I am a 38 year old home based machinist. Before going full time at home as a machinist i had 22 years in the comercial HVAC industry. I have already learned more on this site than the rest entire web. I have resources that most don't have. I have a 3 axis CNC and a Big lathe. I don't have a tig as of yet but my best buddy does. I Plan on building a valved reflux rig loosely based on the same design everyone's seen. If anyone has any ideas for the more advanced mechanic they would be greatly apreciated. business! I'll post my collection of questions in there respected sections.

Welcome aboard.
By valved reflux rig do you mean a off set head still? If that's so it's a good rig but a little on the expensive side to build, a boka will do about as well for half the price.
Be careful who you offer your services to and be careful about giving out your personal info. Remember this hobby is illegal and In Alabama it's really illegal.

Yes an offset head. I can have fun with that condenser. I Think I am attracted to the "gizmoness" of it over the other one. That has become less of an issue after reading on this message board. i figure I will, at some point, want to build a a big flute. I think i need simlicity at this point and carry what i learn to the next one. Copper costs aren't as much of a concern as ease of use and output. I am using a 15 gallon keg as a boiler. Thanks for the other advice. Im distilling trace oils for sensual massages and aroma therapy.

I think meth has the authorities busy anyway. The cops around here would just say "let me get some". The South Rocks

Welcome to HD SouthpawMachine...
If its an LM rig, I'd run with Rubber Ducks recommendation, the Boakakob Slant Plate wins hands down...
Esay/cheap to build, easy to run and easy to maintain...
