Put 4 copper centering rings in my VM column today wow what a difference in my product. I have a 55" of packing, My column is comprised of 4 pieces of 2" stainless with triclamps. At the 4 connections I inserted a 2"x 1" cone made from copper flashing.
Running 48L of 29% wheat low wines today 900ml into the run I am shocked at what is coming out of this baby.

Cut them off at like 40mm ID I reckon. 1" is getting pretty small. But primo!

Thanks,
I will post a pic this week, midweek I will break my column down to a pot still to collect my tails. In the meantime here is the calc I used to make patterns for my cones you enter the sizes it gives you the dimensions and angles all you need is a protractor and a compass.
