(No he did not pay me to say this) And if you could get an OD piece? Who wouldn’t jump at that.

I buy at a wholesale plumbing supplier and KS sold me a few feet at the same price per foot that I would have had to pay and buy a full ten foot length. His price on the reducer was cheaper. At the price he quotes on his web site, I could buy all the materials, a twelve pack and get to work.

The amount of hours in making plates, drilling them and the time and work to make your coolers is huge. If you want to make booze, buy one.

Yes, I enjoyed building mine. It was a labor of love. I am sure as hell not going into the flute building business. I can make five cents an hour elsewhere.

Thank you so much for the kind words my friend. I know some think I am just out to make a buck. That is not true. I honestly try to offer some American craftsmanship at affordable prices. I know some of my products are a little more expensive than other places but many are also cheaper. I have always said I don't have to have allot of money to be rich. I have have a home, food on the table and a great wife and son... I feel I am already rich. There is more time that goes into building one of these than you may think.

Yup, when you consider lots of the parts have to be individually made, construction time for me is around 3 weeks, and I am retired and without the commitment of a job to go to.

When I read all the threads with people talking about using a drill and file, hand drills and propane torches, I thought goodness, this will be easy. Boy was I wrong.

I have a lathe, drill press. TIG, MIG welders, Oxy Acetylene, Three Oxy propane torches and every kind of grinder and polisher you can imagine. I am skilled at welding and soldering. I make a living making creative work and I understand man hours, cost and return.

In my business I have a creed that I subscribe to. “Be true to your margin” Meaning that no matter how beautiful the piece I make, no matter how much customers love it, if I cant make money doing it. I move on.

Thank you for the R&D work you have done and the value you give to members.

The post was to point this out. They should get them while you are still willing to build them for members at a reasonable price.

Soon you will realize that your skills are of more value and your prices will reflect that.
