Moonshine on the Cascades

Greetings all,
After 3+ years of making "alcohol", I now consider myself an Alcoholist. The stuff I'm now making makes store-bought stuff taste like rancid radiator liquid. I've really enjoyed making and drinking the liquors I've made for next to no cost. I think it's time to give something back to the hobby. So, here I am. I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas and helping those who truly want to learn the art (not just get a cheap drunk).
The guy who taught me, only gave me a little info at a time. That way, he was sure how dedicated I was and I appreciated the knowledge more when I had to know WHY something works or doesn't work. I realize that anyone can read our posts, but I'm sure I'll keep a secret or two.
See you all on the forum,
Cowchip

I'm in the Ellensburg area, now. I just moved back to E. WA after 15 years in Enumclaw. I never thought of taking a pic of my rig. I built it to store in a way that you'd never know that it's a still. I'll take some pix when I set it up (about a week from now).
As for secrets, the only thing I really haven't found on the forum is regarding clarity. Regardless of the strength of the flavor, I like my 'shine to look like 'shine; clear. I think I'll take pix and disclose my whole process in an upcoming thread. My philosophy is to keep it simple, ultra-cheap, strong and tasty.

Welcome Cowchip. We can always use more talent, especially someone with "tips".

I'm not too far from you, just an hour or so north. Lots of Washington State members here.
