So I went picking apples, got 15lbs off the tree for eating, pies and whatnot.
I then found out the fallen apples (sold as bait for deer) were being sold 5$ for 25kg. I grabbed three of course.
Now I don't have a press or a anything to build one. So I'm going to try and ferment off the fruit. If I chop the apples up and add yeast will I get any alcohol or just vinegar and fruit flies? I want to avoid adding sugar and water, this is for a Calvados.
