what to buy and what not?

Dear Mentors: I've got a new turbo 500 still.....I read horror story's on their recipes on this site that come with the kit. Before I go back to the brew shop, do I need turbo yeast ,turbo clears, carbon additives or carbon filters? Im not home every night I drive truck , I just need to know what to buy before I get started...before I buy all the fancy stuff from the brew shop. Yeast , clears or if I need them at all. Im more than willing to research it on this site, but would be nice if I need something that would help with the process of starting me up. Thank you for any help you can provide.
