Does anyone know anything about MileHiDistilling?
I placed an order with them on the 12th. I have heard nothing since, nor has anything been delivered. They have charged my credit card, they did that the same day I ordered. 2 days ago I inquired as to status, and still have received no reply from them as to status. Before placing the order I read many threads on this site, and they seemed like a legit company. The only negative I read about them was the still design was not the best, and building one could make for a better product. I did not find any info making them seem like a scam.
All emails asking questions before the purchase were replied to in less than a few hours. Now after the purchase and no delivery it's like emailing a black hole.
How long should one be ignored with no delivery before calling the CC company and doing a charge back?

I have used them a lot. They ship to me in the UK and I have found them to be friendly enough. For small items they are willing to disregard the postage rates quoted on the site and use a USPS flat rate box instead.

I've only bought smaller items from them, but have been very pleased with them. What you see is what you get. The online vids are pretty cool, especially for novices.

I've bought copper mesh, and my tri-clamp connector kit from them with no problems, I think they are one of a handful of repeatable companies in our hobby.

Mile-hi is pretty much a one-man-show (from build to order and tech support) and Mikes busy most of the time—which he expressed as the reason there are occasional communication, etc., issues. He posts here and seems to take an interest in clearing up issues when members post about problems, etc . But, he was pretty straightforward about the fact that calls/emails, etc., sometimes don't get answered (and the reasons why), and that he gets behind sometimes. I don't know Mike, other than his posting back and forth here, and I've never ordered from Mile-hi myself. But, plenty of people have and like their products..despite the occasional hickup in communication or late orders.
My advice to anyone who ordered from Mile-hi and has been unable to contact them, or not getting messages/emails returned, etc., is to just be patient. Sure enough...he usually is not far behind getting caught up and things come to a resolution.
There was in fact a thread that Mike posted back and forth in...about these very issues. You must have just missed it.

I've been happy with orders over the past two years. Small stuff comes in a week, larger may take a week or three. But always as advertised and great quality.

I am feeling more reassured now.
I got concerned when after placing the order, and hearing or receiving nothing for as long as I did. I probably should have been more patient, I am used to a slightly different online shopping experience.
