2" or 3" column?

Going to buy a 13 gallon Boiler from Mile hi. I will be heating it with a 2000v (220) hotplate. I will mainly be running a mash consisting of cracked corn/sugar & distillers yeast. Sweetfeed recipe & possibly trying some real fruit mashes. My Q is what do you guys think would be best for output/quality? Should i go with a 2" or 3"? Thanks!
