Does anyone combine different strains of yeast?

Hey all, does anyone use multiple strains/brands of yeast when they pitch? Is it verboten to mix and match? I primarily use C&B Distiller's Yeast, was looking to run a batch with some Baker's Yeast as I primarily make whiskey. Would combining the two give a weird flavor combo or mess up the wash? Opinions?
