What to do with old fruit?

One of the reasons I love this hobby is that ever since I started it, I have practically no excuse for tossing out bad fruit. I had five pears come in with my shipment of organics last week that I knew I wasn't going to eat in time (not a big fan of this kind of pear) so I chopped them up today, blended them, tossed that into a couple of fermentors with sugar water, nutrient, and D254. In a couple of months, I'll have a nice pear wine. I never would have thought of that before I took this up! Cheers to that, folks...cheers to that.
