Some things to consider when making Bourbon

Id like to just put a little tip in the pot for those interested in making a high quality bourbon.And nobody get offended either,because Ive been hearing BS about the subject of bourbon for years so and I didnt read it on this forum.There is lots of good info here! With that said,the first tip is:Make sure the info you base your methods on is legit! There is a lot of BS on the subject of bourbon and whiskey in general.I like to call it "voodoo"....its anything that people say that is not based on fact.For instance,someone screws up a mash with yellow corn in it,and yellow corn suddenly becomes not fit for making mash.Go to the websites of commercial bourbon distilleries,and you might just find there is a lot of good solid info on them.
