Welcome to the forum form another PNWesterner, for a while we were dominating the scene with new members but lately it seems it's all been SC. What are your plans? What do you like to drink?

I am also from the PNW. Wonder why there are so many of us joining? Maybe it's because our weather stinks and we need an indoor hobby :)

As a local tip - I found a few kegs on Craigslist but I thought they were too high or were too far. So, I posted a wanted ad received several responses. From that I was able to score a 15.5 gallon keg for $20.

thanks for the welcome guys!
@bayou-ruler defintly feeling some of the music you have with your videos.

@bushman drink? cold and on sale!! well i love my bourbon, vodka, brandy and some good ol homemade kaluha (sp) i like giving it to family during the holidays.
if and when i do drink beer its usally through a 1 1/2 hose with a funnel attached to one end.
as far as my plans, is just to learn this as a hobby have always been intruiged by distilling and fermenting.
have played with a few beers and wines. and look to delve deeper into one of the things i love and thats likker!

@ instable, already had three laying around and a nephew works for one of the majors in the big city.
and the more i get into this i see alot of natural resourses at our fingertips here in the PNW.two friends of mine have some rather large farms that would help me out tremendously in my brandy makin.

anyways thanks again for the welcome! happy trails!

I STRONGLY advise you to read this thread: "Procurement" of kegs
