Seems simple enough for my beginners skill to construct and sounds like he is having good results of 140 proof. Can i expect more? Or is this about as good as it gets with this type of still?
Right now I am making my list of what I need. Boy the materials are adding up.
Luckily i have an old turkey fryer so the will help out on some cost.
The copper elbows and reducers are looking about 20-30ish dollars. Until you get to the smaller ones.
On the 3" Pipe i read that going taller than 20" could be beneficial, but no taller than 48" I am thinking about going an even 3'
On the worm in the bucket, would it be okay to use the pre-coiled copper? 1/2" and i have heard to make at least 7 coils.
I plan to get a 15.5 Beer keg theres some on ebay for about $45 then $50 to ship.
Then the 2" to 3" collar and acc. to go from keg to copper pipe.
If you have any pointers for me feel free to help. thank you!
