angle of leibig?

goin to build my leibig out of 1/2 and 1 copper and wondering if the angle matters at all. does a 45 or 20 degree angle make a diff. wanted to ask before i cut my pipe up.

Its just gotto slope downwards away from the column, the angle don't matter.

i tried searching but my computer is being retared. has it slow moments and i allways try that first.

10 to 15 dgrees below horozontal works well.

You can go uphill for a bit if you want some reflux.

If your making a pot still, try posting in the pot still forum. If your making a column, then I apologise in advance.

It is often a case of what is convenient. If you put in a 1 or even 2, 90 degree bends with a joint, it allows you to change the angle of the condenser. This is helpfull if you use different size containers. I like to strip straight into 1 gallon demijons, but use smaller containers on the spirit run.

On my leibig, I put a threaded union before the 90 degree elbow going down to the leibig, this way I can adjust it to any angle I want. But from my understanding it's up to your personal preference as far as the angle is concerned.
