Just curious. Can cuts be made specfically using only a alcoholmeter therefore determining your cuts by your measurements by Vol of alcohol ?

At hobby sized proportions, not too well. An alcoholometer will get you in the ballpark, but should not be the final method of cuts.
taste, smell, feel, those are your tools. Also, chopping the output up into small numbered containers is a good way to go, especially when learning to drive the still, and when 'learning' a new recipe.
