Boiler tall and skinny or short and fat??

Post by jimmyjames1981 »

Anybody know any pro's or con"s of running a shorter fatter boiler versus a taller skinnier boiler?

I prefer shorter and fatter as it allows room for my reflux column (otherwise it hits ceiling)

short and fat gives a greater surface are for vapours to rise from too, + it's more stable. Go for it if you can do it!
