If you are thinking about the addition of honey to your product, might I suggest Wal-Mart's house brand Clover Honey. I tried some this morning and it has a spice flavor I don't remember in honey. A nice addition to whiskey I would think. I haven't compared other brands, of clover honey, but another brand jusy marked honey had nothing going for it.

If you want the flavors and nuances that are available in honey, find a local bee keeper that processes their honey without any heat.

Here in New Mexico we have the best wildflower honey I've ever tasted.
