"Production of Heavy Rums" by Rafael Arroyo

Post by Buccaneer Bob »

There are a few copies of Patent #2,386,924 entitled "Production of Heavy Rums" issued to Rafael Arroyo in 1943 floating around on the internet, but I have yet to find a copy in a computer-friendly format that I really liked, so I decided to put one together.

Because this is a patent document issued by the United States Patent Office, it falls into the category of "public domain", so there should not be any issues with copyright.

I made versions in .pdf format, .doc format, and .odt format (for the open-source enthusiasts) and am currently hosting copies on my website.

Anyone interested in rum and/or its production -- or distillation of spirits in general -- is encouraged to snag a copy and help to disseminate versions of this document in any way they see fit.
