Trouble With Sweetfeed wash

Hi I think my ferment has stalled and I don't have any Idea why.Heres what I did. I cleaned every thing I was going to use then Last monday I put about 4" of sweetfeed into a 5gal. bucket .
In another container I mixed 5 bls. Of sugar with warm water When the sugar was well mixed I added it to the sweetfeed.
Then as I do with wine a added alittle Potassium metabisulphite.
Then I let it sit till the next day (covered)
On tuesday I added LIQUOR QUIK™ HIGH ALCOHOL SUPERYEAST™ X-PRESS. I've used this alot and it has always worked great for me .
Within acouple of hours the airlock was bubbling away
I usally shake the bucket pretty good every night.I dont like to open it till its complete
It was still doing good on Wensday but it was slowing down by the evening and by thursday afternoon it had stoped
On Friday I added acouple of packs OF RED STAR DRY YEAST just to see if it would get started again. I didnt get 1 bubble not 1
So dose anyone have any idea what I did worng never had it stop on me like that before
