Hey Guys,
So I have decided to build a Bubble Plate column for my new still, I have a good supply of stainless sheets for the majority of the components but I was looking to get some feedback on using copper on the internal components of the column as I do not have a readily available supply of stainless pipes & caps for use as the Downcomer, Risers and Bubble Caps. will copper react adversely when in direct contact with the stainless?

No it won't. If you take a look around here you will find many examples of what you are taking about. Either perforated plates or bubblecap plates. Same concept different execution. And slightly different outcome. But as far as building basically the same. Copper and stainless is all we recommend to build a still from. And they work pretty good together. Go for it. Just remember we like pics. Lots and lots of pics.
