Mold floating on wash

Post by Bobocutshair »

So I made a wash out of plumbs and oranges. It fermented for a week or so. Used turbo yeast. I siphoned it out into a few other containers because I wasn't able to run it right away. Now it has what looks like some white mold growing on the top of it. Does anyone know why this could be and if is is still good to run or if I should just toss it.
I'm not drinking, it's just beer.

It may, or may not actually be mold. It might be yeast. Look for Flor as in when making sherry. Either way the liquid underneath should be OK.
