storage off dilluted tails in milk jugs?.

I tried a search of milk jugs but all i found was a lot of info on glass jugs.

Running out of jars to store tails, untill i want to run thru reflux,, can i dillute to 40-50 proof and store in milk jugs or apple juice jugs?
i know i don't want to store my finished goods in plastics?

I think you answered your own question...don't store any alcohol in plastic, especially ones designed for milk...do you have a glass carboy? If you do then store it in that...if you are using it for your fermenting, then invest in another as you can always use it in future....and get a glass carboy, not plastic, and always dilute you feints down to 40% or less for safety reasons.

nothing over 12% goes in plastic, and even that not for too long. full stop end of story.

Fatman, If you think about it, glass is so easy to find. If you stop to get lunch at a deli or sandwich shop ask if they have any empty pickle jar's or such. They usually use 1 gallon or better. Just be sure to smile, wink, and flirt with the cashier / order taker (as long as they are the right sex) and you can usually get jug's or jar's for free!

Don't like plastic for anything ethanol related.... Maybe try the local bar for liquor bottles...

I get several bottle from my local pub and clean them up for saving my good stuff in. Wish i could find the 1 gallon vinegar bottles.

Wasn't sure how everyone felt since the product was going to be re distilled again?

With me, even if it to be redistilled, I try to stay with glass just because I can find it for nothing and I know it is safe. Plastic may be OK, but with so much glass around why bother? I would rather be safe than sorry! Sorry I didn't have anything to add to your question about plastic storage to be redistilled.
