re starting your still

so the question is,

what happens if I have to stop distilling for what ever reason, is a matter of a simple start up and continue where I left off?

TL..

edit here,

OK, so I fired up my rig again to finish off the rest of a plum wine wash, (I ran out of time last night). What I did notice is that thee was a crazy good smelling fruity aroma coming off the distillate, something that would be wicked in martini (possibly). The goal here in the first place was to get as much high % alcohol off, I quit at 92-94% last night because of time. I am refluxing the hell out the wash and the % is climbing back up slowly, so this leads me back to the question above.

On a re start do I have to play the heads game again or proceed as if I were normal?

Yes if it's a pot still. If it's a reflux still then your going to need to bring the column back into equilibrium.
