Is distillers yeast Brewers yeast?

No it is not. Brewers yeast is a vitamin supplement. It is actually dead yeast from brewing beer or whatever. It will not ferment because it is dead. This holds true for most yeast labeled brewers yeast. Some mistakenly call beer yeast brewers yeast. But more then likely if the label says brewers yeast. It's just a vitamin supplement.
You will need an active yeast.

There is some great information in this very forum if you take the time to do some research before asking questions that have already been answered many many many times... No need further fragmenting these forums with needless repetition, including this response... We say to do independent research for good reason so take the hint...
