That looks unpleasant, but cool. Bet fixing that truck after it's bashed into unconsciousness is fun.

You mean "cold"....unpleasant and cold :) Boda..the white stuff is called "snow". It falls from the sky up north where it's colder than a tin toilet on the shady side of an iceberg.

many farmers worked for the town in winter as much of there worked closed or slowed..and instead of "welfare"
they had "relief".they also worked for towns etc.they it don't show all the trucks, they also had "Oshscotch"and"Linn tractors"
they were a half track.quite a truck, but sort of went where they wanted.as any one that tried to operate a dozier on the ice will tell you.and yes they waited for the storm to stop, then plowed.after plowing they worked on trucks.doing repairs until the next storm.if you worked in a factory or other "city job" that's where you lived, there was non of this running back and froth.

Not my favorite three words... I dread lake effect snow storms... But I still head right out and drive in it, unlike southerners who shut entire cities down at a dusting... We're more than 8.5" below average at the moment and that doesn't bother me one bit...

Come on Larry, you'll be fine, they sell flip flop boots for the colder climates.

Driven all over the country and driving in the snow up north is no big deal. Those guys hit the roads before the snow even starts and keep them plowed. We don't have many plows at all here so it is a pain. That and when we get snow it usually starts with freezing rain and sleet. Now that is no fun. As far as living with it. I don't see how you guys do it. Down here a foot of snow is a VERY severe winter storm that only comes around every few years and it is melted in a few days. You yanks can have the cold.

We can drive in it usually, but choose not to. Its a special occasion that we take advantage of by staying home, enjoying time around the fire, watching tha kids play, and getting deep under the covers with maw... Good times, good memories...

At least they had some good music!!!

We had a 110 degree day at work this summer...

It almost feels unreal to try to survive those temps...
