Shochu Yeast

I am trying to find a Korean or Japanese manufacturer of Shochu Yeast like Kyokai Yeast No.7 .....any body got a lead on a US or UK iporter of this product?

isn't it the same stuff as the koji used to make sake?

Yes, I found the Wyeast site later on....they do seem to have the genuine #9 yeast but it is pretty expensive....have you used the Mauri yeast that seems to have is roots in the east?
Have you used an orazye based commercial enzyme instead of the koji mold based method?
