My mash has been going strong for about four days now. I was wondering how long your mash usually takes to ferment?

Depends on what it is and how much/what the yeast have to eat...

Hey brewing...it takes as long as it takes. It depends on a lot of factors...temp, how high the gravity was..condition of yeast, etc. Mine normally finish in around a week (give or take). Some go 10 days to actually clear.
When it's finished...the cap on the top (suspended solids/grain etc.) will fall. And the cloudy appearance will start to clear as all the yeast, and suspended bits fall out to the bottom and settle. It may still have some residual bubbles at that point (mostly C02 trapped in the bottom coming up). But, once the cap falls and it clears..taste it and see if it's "dry"...or if it still has sweetness to it. Check it with hydrometer.
