Still house???

Has anybody built a special building just for your still? I have been thinking of a faux "outhouse" kind of thing to keep the still and burner in. It could be sorta of a "double seater" with a shelf instead of a seat. Still on one side of the seat, condensor on the other side. Then fermenter under the "shelf". Any thoughts? I just thought it would look cool from the outside, would hide the still, and keep the mess outside the house.

Hmm...so why you smoke in the outhouse? Just kidding!

I haven't gone so far as a separate building but I have more than a few ideas about hiding in plain sight.

I still on my back porch most of the time, and a nosy neighbor could possibly see me. I use a keg over gas. I now have a SS Gas grill, on casters, that has died. It is perfectly the correct size to hide a turkey burner and a keg in. The grill will make a great wind shield for the whole setup. And who would question a propane bottle setting next to a grill.

If I were to build something along the lines you suggest, I would make it look like a small smoke house for meats. Maybe even smoke some meat in it.

That sound pretty "unnoticeable"! Great idea sinceyou have the grill anyway.
