I have 5-5 gal of CC/Cornmeal "Wash" spaced out a day apart and it sets: #1 on ninth day....still bubbling one every 30 seconds but #4 has stopped completely. What do I do?

I did all 5 buckets the same with same ingredient, exactly. Why would # 4 only at 7 days beat the front 3,2,&1?

Pardon me it I am wrong, I am pretty new here to be handing out advise, but I look at your story like this:

The yeasties are like little workers. You started putting the roof on 5 houses with your workers, each a day apart. The same number of workers were working on each roof, the houses were all identical. The workers finished house number 4 before the workers on houses number 1,2 and 3. What should I do?
RUN IT!

Just my 2 cents.....
Tim

No 2 ferments are ever the same even though you think you did everything the same. If it is not sweet or if you have a hydro and the sugar is around 1.00 RUN IT!!!
If it is sweet or the SG is still high then you need to figure out why it stalled, maybe temp, maybe PH... don't know.

"RUN IT!"
yes but you should check.it out. it makes a good lessen .
was it warm enough? to much sugar?,to little sugar ? bad yeast? lack of nutrients?
then next time "the stall" mite be avoided.(if it was)
and if there is sugar in the wash cushion is needed when/if you distill.
of course the opposite could be true ,you unknowingly could have made a improvement.

I did the exact same thing on all five buckets with same amount of sugar and the same yeast, etc....

could be a partially bad batch of yeast. in the long run it is done when it is done

By "cushion" he means add extra head space in the boiler to account for possible foaming due to unfermented sugars...
