Fruit juice in proofing
So I had an idea to use fruit juice (apple, grape, ect) instead of water when I proof my hooch. After 2 runs my hearts are at about 160 proof so the math is pretty simple, but I was wondering if I could use juice instead of water to cut it down to 80 proof. And if so can it go bad from the juice or do I need to keep it in the fridge. I was planning on doing this with a sugar wash. About 4gal of water 4 lbs of white sugar and 2tsp of yeast energiser (package instructions) and a packet of active dry bread yeast.
