Controller question/ clarification
Have been reading and searching info on element controllers. Just finished looking at thread by Pamulli titled " Phase angle control modules" where Mulekicker talks about two different set ups. One with a transformer and one without. In the psr25 build they are using a 2w 250 k ohm pot. In other builds I have noticed a 560 ohm pot being used. I am wanting to heat a 15 gallon keg with boka head. No 220 except for ac unit which has a subpanel mounted in my garage. Looks like all other breakers in box all the way over on other side of house have 15 amp no 20's. Can somebody offer some info. I've seen the builds, parts list, wiring diagrams, threads, post being repeated, but I'm just a little confused and quite frankly don't wanna burn my house down. I kinda like it with a roof and four walls. Thanks in advance.

I am assuming you want to run the still in your garage? If so is the A/C sub panel a single breaker panel/ or is there Spaces for additional breakers?

Single. And there is 110 outlet in garage. This diagram is the one I'm referring to. I just notice guys talking about a 560 ohm pot. Does it matter which one.

Re: Controller question/ clarification
The pot needs to match the ohm value that the particular psr-25 is rated for.........
