I am sorry if I should have found or understood the calcs on the parent site but I am still alittle confused.....Is there a calc I can use to get a rough expectation of distilled volume from my wash? I have a pot still.... the washes I have been running are 4-4.5 gallons and have been between 10-15% ABV.......The runs I have done produce 120 proof and of course start to fall. ...the run I did yesterday got cloudy faster then the first two runs I have done. my first 20 oz are clear and high proof, but got cloudy after that, the next 15 oz is 108 proof then from there are cloudier...... any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thank you, but how do I figure the percentage of distillate? Do I use what it is after the first 50 ml? So since my first 20 oz is 60 percent/ 120 proof?

It seems as though you may want to do a stripping run followed by a spirit run.

Simply multiply the starting ABV (Percent Alcohol By Volume) of your wash times the volume of your wash. Then take the final volume of your combined distillate or the sums of your individual collection jars (if you prefer) and multiply those by the ABV (or the ABV of each jar).
If you collected 100% of what was available in the wash then those to numbers should be equal.
Of course no system is 100% efficient and I expect there is still ethanol left in your boiler when you are done and some could be lost to the atmosphere

Wash Volume x ABV = Total EtOH
Distillate Volume xABV = Collected EtOH

(Collected EtOH)/(Total EtOH) x 100 = Percent Collected

or...

(Total EtOH- Collected EtOH)/(Total EtOH) x 100= Percent Difference (between what was collected and what was available)

Just think of it as a big black box and forget about the distillation part. You simply compare what goes in versus what comes out.

Ps: you can account for what was left in the boiler the same way AND dont forget to account for temperature when measuring ABV.
