gonna try my hand at this stuff. Looking for a good basic recipe for corn liquor. I will be using a 5 gallon pot still. All help is appreciated.

Look in the "Tried and True" section for recipes. I've learned it is best to first crawl, then walk... and later run. You'll get a kick out of watching the first few drops roll out. Enjoy!

I agree, The Uncle Jessies Simple Sour Mash recipe is a great starter wash. It trains your nose and taste to the hearts section as it comes out about the same each time. Also, you will learn your stills operation and end up with some very good corn likker for drinking as each generation improves in flavor, especially after the 4th gen. I'd suggest to read the whole UJSSM thread.
