Stop and restart?

We had a seal break on our first run and had problems with the run and due to this we were forced to stop before we ran through the entire wash (we were still producing good spirits), I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to restart the still using the same mash to extract the rest of the spirits. Or should we just start over with a new mash?
