Damn.!! I just broke my cylinder for my proof hydrometer Well at least I have some tall glasses that will work.
I'm gonna need a drink.

Wow! I bet your the first to break one! Those things are built like tanks Laughing with you, not at you. One day I stepped on one new in the tube.....I never even floated it!

Edit to say "Oh, now I see, you broke the cylinder.......done that too!"

Now, had you broke both in one go that would have been priceless...

I do that by forgetting not to drop the hydrometer in the liquid from too high, (which is about 5" don't ask me how I know ).

Done that too ! At first I was loosing them left and right. Knock on wood, its been a while since I broke one.
