Copper pot

Post by Guy_1776 »

I am planning to build a copper pot from sheet metal. I want to know if their are any detailed videos on this. I have not been able to find any. I am building everything myself. The boiler the cap the thumper and the condenser it is going to be a big important expensive project. The sheet metal alone will be 400 so I can not afford any mistakes. Any good reads or videos would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. But the design is not the problem I have that in my head and am confident in it. I am going to solder it together and my main concern is I am not sure how to attach the bottom plate to the boiler. Would soldering a round peice of meatal to the bottom be enough or would I need to bend the copper in some way to make it stronger? I Guss I'm just not sure if the solder will be strong enough To not seperate during my runs. Please excuse my grammar errors I am sending from an I phone and it is a bit difficult.
