Re: anyone in australia?
Go to any feed or grain store, places that sell stock feed for horses, chooks, cows. should cost you about $1 a L if you buy 20L or more at a time.
Re: anyone in australia?
+1 for that.
I had no trouble finding it at the local stock feed trader. I know a cattle farmer / lucerne grower who has a thousand gallon bulk tank of the stuff that he uses himself and sells some off in 44 gallon drums. Unfortunately for you, it is much closer to Sydney than Rocky. It comes from Bundeberg though so you should be able to get it up there without too much bother.

The 25kg drum sounds about right, but the other one.
Mate $10 a litre is a bit extreme. Only $2.00 - $3.00 is more the right price point. Tell him he's jokin".

Re: anyone in australia?
Rockhampton is a huge cattle area, they feed mollasses to the cattle. If you know any cattle people they will get it for you for 40c or less (probably around 30c a kg). As mentioned produce stores will also have it.
Re: anyone in australia?
thanks guys the only problem is with the stock feed places it wont be for human consumption will it ? it will only be for cattle im guessing?

Its going to go through a still at high temp, in high abv alcohol vapor, not sure that there will be to many bugs or critters left alive in it after that....so they shouldn't hurt you.Beam wrote:thanks guys the only problem is with the stock feed places it wont be for human consumption will it ? it will only be for cattle im guessing?
