This is what I did--- made five gals. black berry wine last summer, Ran it through the still two weeks ago, then I used the panty dropper recipe with some frozen black berries . Taste pretty good.

I've taken some good clear, mixed it 50/50 with some blackberry cider I can get from the local Amish store, and throw in a handful of some fresh off the vine berries and had great results.

If your looking for the flavor, I found a macerate (like the strawberry pantie dropper with blackberry in the strawberry place) is great. You get all the flavor with a lot less berries.
Last year I tried a ferment with tons of berries (I mixed in some other type berries and such) but the flavor did not come through for me like it did in the macerate.
Here are are my miss adventures with the berries

You may have better luck but they sure are hard to pick for a ferment cause you need so many.
I will only do macerate my self from now own. And I will do it again because it was really good, love that blackberry flavor!

For me just sips out of a shot glass. A few times I had a shot in 7up or ginger ale. Really had a good taste.
